Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Color Conquest (the "Service"), provided by ReenTech LLC ("ReenTech", "we", "our", or "us"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of California, United States.

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you also represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

The Service is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a user under 13, we will delete the account.

2. Your Account

You sign up by choosing a color, a word, and a passphrase. Together these produce a public handle that uniquely identifies you on the Service.

You are responsible for:

  • keeping your passphrase confidential;
  • all activity that happens under your account;
  • choosing a handle that does not impersonate another person, infringe trademarks, or contain abusive, hateful, or deceptive content.

We may change or remove your handle at our discretion if it violates these Terms or applicable law.

3. Acceptable Use

While using the Service, you agree not to:

  • operate more than one account ("multi-accounting" or "alting"), including for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage in combat, territory, or ledger mechanics;
  • use bots, scripts, automation, scraping tools, or any non-browser client to interact with the Service;
  • exploit bugs, unintended behavior, or race conditions — if you discover one, report it to legal@reentechllc.com;
  • harass, threaten, dox, or abuse other players through handles, messages, or in-game actions;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, infrastructure, or data belonging to us or other users;
  • interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service, including through denial-of-service attacks or excessive request volume;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.

4. User Content

The handle you choose, the location you declare, and your in-game actions are visible to other players. By using the Service, you grant ReenTech a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and transmit this content as necessary to operate the Service.

You retain no ownership claim in game-state artifacts (ledgers, stains, combat outcomes) produced by your play. All such state is game data owned by ReenTech for the purposes of operating and presenting the Service.

5. Service Changes and Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and is under active development. We may:

  • add, modify, or remove features, mechanics, balance values, or content at any time;
  • suspend the Service for maintenance, upgrades, or emergencies;
  • discontinue the Service entirely, with or without notice.

We make no guarantee of uptime, data persistence, or backwards compatibility between versions.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, email legal@reentechllc.com (see the Privacy Policy for details).

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including (but not limited to) violation of these Terms, abuse of other users, exploitation of bugs, or suspected fraud. Upon termination, your access to the Service ends immediately; we may retain or delete game-state data as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, its visual design, code, trademarks, and all related intellectual property are owned by ReenTech LLC or its licensors, and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as provided.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REENTECH LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100 USD).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReenTech LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You and ReenTech agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date and version at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes we may, but are not obligated to, provide additional notice.
